Yes, you read that right. I will spare you all any pictures of these lovely incidents. As you may well be able to figure out from the title of this post,..we have a little Poo-caso in the family! His name is Andrew. He has graced Jeremy and I with his masterpieces on numerous occasions. They are only available after dark (so far anyway, thankfully Jer has been home for each one, so cleaning up has been a little easier to handle).
We have not figured out entirely why he enjoys painting with his poop. He does not do it out of anger or spite, nor out of frustration or sadness. The only thing I can figure is that he doesn't want to sleep in it so he takes it off, then enjoys the texture of it. Whether or not he is just trying to wipe it off his hands, break it up like play dough, or redecorate his room we may never know, but man oh man does it really stink to clean up (in all aspects). Andrew also likes to wait until we are getting ready to go to bed to let us in on his artwork. We could have checked in on him 5 minutes before, him completely dressed and in bed, no mess or sign of what will take place soon; then we come up to find him and his room covered.
When I say covered, I mean covered! This is not just a little here, a little there. We are talking smeared into the carpet, all over his bed, blankets, pillows, toys. The worse time (not just including the carpet, bed, blankets, pillows, and toys) he also covered the TV and stand, VCR, baskets (that hold toys- located in different areas of his room), under his bed, in corners of the room, behind furniture, all over the back side of his bedroom door, on shelves, behind and in toys, all over puzzles, in his hair, under his nails, all over his arms, stuck to his legs as if he were wearing chaps (but it was poo), everywhere except where it should have been (in a diaper, pull-up, even underwear, or the potty-which we keep one in his room at all times)!
Lets just say, we can not wait until he grows out of this! I did take a picture of a covered bedroom door as proof years from now when he does not believe us when we tell him about it. Yes, it is disgusting, and No, I am not going to post it!
