So, you may be wondering why I am posting a new swing-set! Basically two days after we finished putting up the first swing-set a small tornado came through the Main Street in town. Needless to say, we had horizontal wind and rain and we lost power for about two hours. The wind and rain caused enough damage to the swing-set to make it unsafe for anyone to use. It ripped part of the slide from under the bolts, it pulled all the stakes out of the ground causing the wood to split, and split pretty much all the spots where wood was held together. Trash day was that morning and we had already gotten rid of the boxes, but luckily Walmart takes everything back and we had a receipt. So we boxed everything up in some boxes Jer found at work and took it back and got our money back. Then, we went and bought this swing-set and put it together over the weekend. Let me just tell you, it took so much longer because neither of us was inspired, the directions were poorly written, and it was quite hot outside. However Jer and I managed to finish it. So far we haven't had any problems with it, but we also haven't had any tornado come through again!

This swing set looks just as fun as the other one did. Hope it is sturdier. You'll be okay as long as there's swing for Andrew.
