Andrew's Beloved Teachers!

These ladies were a true blessing from the Lord.  This classroom was where Andrew needed to be, his main teacher, Ms. Lisa (3rd from the top, with the yellow shirt and big smile) was the biggest blessing.  She truly understood Andrew for all he was, brought the best out of him, for all of it I am truly thankful.  He would not have come as far as he did or have a love for school if it wasn't for her.  Also to Ms Sheron (far left), Ms. Priscilla (middle), and Ms Sarah (top middle).  They were a true blessing as well, co-piloting Andrew's learning progress.  He also had Grandpa Joe (bottom right) who was a sweetheart with the kiddos, talk about working and volunteering!  This man is approaching 90 years old!  Andrew also had a loving case manager, speech teachers, and an occupational therapist loved him as much as he loved them!  Thank you all for making his first years of school be exciting, successful, and fun!
Here is the card I made for all the adults that were a part of his daily school life; from the bus driver and helpers to the pool teacher, from the security guard  down to the bus room people and helpers, too.  It reads (along with the appropriate candy, "Our son started out like and Airhead.  There were Snickers at what he might learn. He has grown so much these past 2 years, we have you to thank.  We could give you Hugs and Kisses at the Smartee pants you helped create!..." etc, etc...

I also created these bags for his main teachers (in above pics), this top one for Ms. Lisa, the bottom ones for the other ladies.  I painted or wrote the words, helped Andrew to paint on his hand-prints and had Ms. Lisa get pics of each of the ladies with Andrew to put in the buttons and the picture pockets on the other side.  They also got a bunch of goodies in the bags!
