Andrew's 5th Birthday, Part 1

I can't believe my little guy has turned 5 years old!  Time has certainly flew by, I know if I blink again he will be grown up and moving away, maybe getting married and having kids of his own too!  Oye!  We got to celebrate with a few groups of people thus far, still a bit more to come, but here are a few pics from all of it thus far!!!

Our Beach Party weekend, we went down to the beach to hang out and celebrate, more importantly because we knew Andrew would have a blast!  Then came home, ate burgers and such before singing to him over an ice cream cake!  Friends of our came down for this party.  Andrew had a blast playing with them all, including Uncle Max!

One of the things we got him was a slip-n-slide.  He had a blast playing with it all afternoon!

For his actual birthday I went out the night before (Jer stayed back and watched the kids for almost an hour so I could do so) and picked up some balloons and munchkins (for a knock off of a doughnut cake, wasn't sure if he would like it or not, figured it could be breakfast!  What kid doesn't like sugar for breakfast!).  Set everything up once everyone was in bed.  We got up the next morning (Jeremy was off because we were leaving to go up to his folks since his Aunt and her family were in from California), sang Happy Birthday to him, he got to open gifts, then I took him and Abby to story-time @ the mall (it happened to fall on that day!) where all the kids sang to him (he wore his birthday boy shirt), he got a pretzel and lemonade, before we went home to pack up (headed to the Dr. for Abigail's 4 month check-up) and head to Grandma and Grandpa's house

I made a simple Monster's Inc (or Monster U) cake to celebrate with the family the following night.  Andrew had a blast, he ended up getting a couple new water guns which got use that night (grandpa opened them for him and suffered the consequences!)  He played water guns for a few hours with the cousins before we headed back to G&G's home for the night.

Here are just a few of the adorable pics I got of Abigail that night!  Talk about a Kodak moment!

Too stinkin' cute! Right!

Andrew's reaction after blowing out the candle on the cake, too funny!  that silly kid! love this boy!

Can't believe that boy is 5 already! You are the master at making cake, that Monsters Inc. one is awesome! And I simply ADORE that pic of Miss Abby with the cap on. I want to squeeze her!
