Our Life As We Know It: Andrew Turns 3!!!

I am finally getting around to posting about Andrew's 3rd birthday party! So with that said, here are some pics of his cake! I was running around most of the party making sure that everyone was taken care of, so needless to say I did not get really any pictures that I wanted... this year we had a "Toy Story---Train" party (since those are the biggest things that Andrew has been into lately. Everything is a train and goes choo choo!! or is Buzz or Woody. Anyway,... we had a few more kids this year so I tried to accomodate adults and kids alike. I had a Potato Head craft in which the kids could decorate a paper potato head with eyes, ears, a nose, mouth, shoes, a hat, and such (all of which I spent cutting out every detail and organizing them into bags so each kid could have their own bag to choose from, yes time consuming,...I don't know what I was thinkings!). We played "Pin the Tail on Rex" (which I made with a poster board, drawing by hand, markers, and cutting construction paper tails). I also had an "Army guys gone AWOL" game (in which little green army men would be cast out all over the lawn and the kids would have to try and find them, whoever would find the most would win,...but we didn't get around to playing that game); along with a couple of Potato Head games, and a cute spin on a musical chairs game (also didn't play any of these). However, between all the adults, the few kids we had, all of the food, and trying to get through it all, I think everyone had a nice time..most imporatantly, Andrew got to spend it with people that he loves, and people that love him! Thanks to all who were able to come, and for all of those who were thinking of him on his birthday!
