The Discovery Center Trip

We were able to go up for the LaCoe Reunion (see post on it); while up My mother and father-in-law wanted to take the kids to the Discovery Center up in New York (about an hour and a half or so away from their house).  We all had a wonderful time, especially Andrew.

Andrew has been big into Pirates for a while now.  There was this cute little pirate ship when we first walked in, had to get a picture of Andrew with it!  Every so often all the kids on our block get out their swords and play, he absolutely loves it.

Most of the please touch museums we have gone to have this cool contraption (Jim and Josh you and your kiddo's (Amber and Michelle, too!) would probably have a blast making something like this!).  Everyone had to have a turn, even Abigail!

Trains...need I say more

Grandma wanted a turn to hold the Abby-girl!

Grocery Shopping
Andrew was so stinkin' cute!  He went through the store, picked out what he wanted, then pulled up to the register, put his things on the conveyer belt and proceeded to pay!  I couldn't take a picture fast enough to catch it, but he almost put a bag of clams in his basket!  It was hysterical, because Jeremy loves clams, I eat them on occasion, but we get them at times.  You always wonder how much your kids are paying attention to the things you do, well this was a perfect example!

This was another area that just makes my heart melt.  Andrew had such a blast playing kitchen, diner, cooking,...call it whatever you want!  There was a place for us all to sit down and hang out with him, too.  He had fun making food for everyone, even Abigail got in on the action.

Abby enjoyed the museum as well

finally got that thumb in her mouth!

Outside of the museum was this really adorable play garden
Finally got a shot of all of us together, yay!!

How adorable is this log cabin!  It had a neat little table and chairs inside made out of logs from trees

There was also a zoo, of course I failed to take any pictures at it, but it was a very cute little zoo.
