Whirlwind of a Year: Friends and School Days!!!

I realize that half of January has already come and gone..bought time I caught up on this, eh? Anyway, these are only part of the events that took place at the end last year; that is,..more to follow!! We had birthday parties, get-togethers, lots of activities at school, and much to do! Her is a recap of some of those wonderful events!! Enjoy!!!

Spending time with friends (birthday party)

Education Week: Chicka Chicka Boom Boom Tree Style
All of the classes paraded around the hall (half at a time, so everyone could get a chance to watch and be watced. Andrew's class by far had the coolest, most creative costumes in the bunch. His class spent that week reading their book; learning about numbers and letters, and creating their costumes as well.

I put together little gifts for all of his classmates and his teachers

I found these cups that you could attach a photo then decorate with special markers. I took care of the photo part and Andrew decorated the cups with markers. I made some lemon snowflake cookies that fit inside the cups, and attached the recipe for them for each of his teachers. Andrew has 4 total adults in his class. Ms. Lisa (she is awesome, perfect for him) is his head teacher.

Oh, did I mention that his school does swimming once a month for the kids. Andrew has always been my little fish, so this has been perfect for him!

Around Christmas-time all the classes had different activies. One of the activities that I got to go be a part of was when they made gingerbread houses (rather, graham cracker, milk carton houses). Andrew didn't care to much about making it (I ended up putting icing on the cracker, he pushed it on the carton, he didn't even care to decorate it). He was more interested in eating all the goodies meant for decoration! What can I say, the boy loves to eat!

Tell that boy to stop growing up so fast! He looks like he is getting so tall!
I have always thought he looked just like Jeremy, but in these pictures I see a lot of you, Kris. :)
