The Surprise Party!!!!

So I have to give credit to everyone involved, whether they were there or not, we pulled it off!!!! This year is my parents 30th Wedding Anniversary (Dec 13th) and since we never got around to giving them a 25th anniversary party, we thought why not try for a 30th instead!!! We were very skeptical about pulling it off because my mom has always been able to sniff out anything that is suppose to be a surprise. However, her and my dad have been so busy with everything else going on in their lives right now that even she was floored when she walked into the room and everyone yelled SURPRISE!!! Just look at the reaction on her face! It was priceless, oh, and this was not even the very first face that she made, the video I am sure captured it all! She was very confused and dad,...oh dad. He of course did not follow right behind her, he was in fact behind Amber, Jim, and the kids! He heard us all yelling surprise, and kept looking behind himself. He thought maybe it was for someone else! They were still in shock a couple days later! All that said, well done everyone, thank you all for all of your hard work, your help, and keeping it a secret; I know I can say that they were both extremely blessed and honored by this gift that we gave them! I have many more pictures, better ones from the party, they are on a card in our GPS, which is with Jeremy right now at an interview! Keep your fingers crossed, we are hoping to hear some good news!!!

Priceless

The Cake
Jeremy added the leaves around the edge, nice work honey!

I made all of the centerpieces, including: the ribbon work around the vases, coloring the rice for all the vases, creating the floral arrangements, bows for the tables, and the boutinere's for both dad and my mom!

We brought along our digital screens to play pictures in the background (not included in all these pics is the picture video that Jer and I put together, thanks to all of my siblings! Thank you all for all of the great pictures, the video was definately a highlight for them)

All the way to the right is the invitation for those who were able to come, in front was the invitiation that I sent out to the family, the floral ribbon things are boutinere's that I made for each of them to wear, and the white invitation is their actual wedding invitation for the day of their wedding!

The beverage table

All of the food!
I made the vegtable trays and an ambrosia (a fruit salad of sorts)
Everything else was created by Mom Duff, her mom: Mrs. Adrian, and Alicia
(Notice the bows around the edge of the table)

The gift table
(a bow in front)

Thank you Mom and Dad Duff for allowing us to host this party at your house! We could not have pulled any of it off without your help! Thank you Mom Duff and Mrs. Adrian for all your help with the food, too!!! (and Alicia with the Deviled Eggs)! It made everything wonderful and beautiful!
