Our Trip to the Zoo!

We are very fortunate in the fact that we live less than an hour from the Cape May County Zoo. This Zoo is awesome for many reasons. The two biggest reasons are 1- It is free, and 2- they have a park outside the zoo for kids of all ages. I decided that it would be a perfect time to go down since our weather has been getting nicer and the forcast for the day was to be at least in the mid-70's. Andrew and I went down with a friend of mine and her two children. We had a blast. My friend is also the mother of the little girl I have watched in the past! She is the other little one in the photos! Enjoy, I know we did!
The peacocks pretty much roam all over the grounds of the zoo. Yes, Andrew did have fun, he just decided to not look at the camera while I was taking the picture! Ugh!
Here is that same peacock, aren't they beautiful creatures!

The tiger was out walking in his area, it is always crazy to think how big these animals really are! Side note, my friend Jen was telling me once when she was at this zoo there was a mother who pushed her stroller with her child in it very close to the fence, the tiger I guess was not very happy about this, and he relieved himself all over her and her kid! They were soaked to the bone! Isn't that crazy!

Don't worry mom, all these pictures are of lizards, aligators, and turtles.

This lizard was trying to bury itself in the ground

You can't see it but we were looking at the alligators

They also have an area that has zebras, giraffes, and many other animals

Andrew and Reese looking at the ostrich and the giraffe

You can't really see them, but there is an ostrich and giraffe in this picture
