Painting With a 1 Year Old

So you might be asking, is she crazy??? The answer: Well, maybe a little bit!
I figured it might be a new fun task to try painting with Andrew. Needless to say, I knew it would be difficult, by all means it took a lot of prep work. This is the only shot I got of him painting because I was by myself having him paint...hey, at least I thought to take this picture!
Our painting experience:
After I got everything outside, including getting Andrew set up in his high chair (down to his diaper), I painted his hands and feet and put them on two seperate papers (once they dry, I will take some pics to let you guys see). Then, I proceeded to let him paint with his hands on a seperate piece of paper. Right after he put his hand in the paint, I put it on the paper to get him started and showed him what to do, but he had other plans. He proceeded to grasp the paint in his fist then put it in his mouth. Luckily I was paying attention enough to grab his hand, move the paint and paper, before he ate it. Yes, he got some on his mouth, and probably a little into it, but for those who have their jaws wide open, I cleaned him off right away. Oh yeah, the paint is for children AND it is non-toxic and washable! Thank you!
