The Shower Continues...

The diaper cake! I got to make this one... I hot glued all the ribbon on it, including the little bows in the front I made with tool (sorry, I forget how to spell it right, I will blame it on my mommy brain), ribbon, and beads, to look like little ballerina leotards and tutu's. Hence the Barbie ballerina on the top,...of course it might be a few years before it can be used, but who cares...right?

The tea table.. if you look towards the left side of the table, you will notice a tray that has a bunch of different colored triangles. These were the assortment of teas... My mom found these! Aren't they cute! She also found these little tea bag/ teaspoon holders shaped like tea kettles as favors for those who were able to come! Great job mom! You did a phenomenal job with everything, thank you for all your help and all you hard work!

The food table, we had a number of items.. to name a few, I made chocolate covered, chocolate chip scones, my mom made some yummy clotted cream; there was also a fruit salad, some finger sandwiches, and much more!

One of our games! It was Famous Moms and Daughters (Mostly pop culture, but I was able to find a few names in the Bible, too).

Sorry Amber, couldn't resist! This was another game, each person had to hold a tiny clothespin from their nose and drop it into a tiny bottle while standing over it. The one with the most inside the bottle won! Each person had 10 chances. I pray everyone was blessed by the time we had,... I know I was blessed that I was able to help my mom with the shower, and bless Amber with one of the first precious days with her and her daughter,... to be able to spend it at a tea (the first of many!) with some of the close women in her family and her life! Thank you all for blessing us, but especially Amber with your presence, your thoughts, and your prayers!
